The Nightwatchman is a reversible garment that has been laser cut from a lightweight cotton. The double face fabric makes this piece extremely versatile; it features two lower front pockets that carry through on both garment faces, a removable collar and leather collar tab. Te Nightwatchman also includes signature Boneville Butcher’s buttons throughout, these can be removed to allow for the garment to be worn on the alternate face. Additionally, the garment features a line of triple stitching at the hem which pays homage to a traditional construction method used on work’s coats of the last century. Shipworker’s would use these stitch lines as guides to cut there garment to size once the hem became damaged due to work in highly inclement conditions, allowing them to customise their garment and make it as ft for purpose as possible. -

Inspired directly by early Osti designs, the Cadet coat pays homage to a style that is arguably all too undervalued in today’s marketplace. The Cadet has been crafted from a specially laundered linen that offers a unique vintage hand-feel, very similar to that used by Osti himself in much of his early work. The garment includes signature BNV expanding pockets to the lower front, chest pockets, underarm vents and adjustable cuffs. -

Inspired by traditional 1950s post war duffel coats, the Signalman is produced from 100% heavyweight wool and features contrast cotton broken twill pockets. The centre is secured by signature BNV toggles, based on sailing grommets, which are produced from cast iron and then rubber coated, designed to be highly tactile in adverse weather conditions. The Signalman features a penny rounded collar which sits tight into the neck up to the chin, providing superb insulation with traditional styling; a hook ‘n bar fastening can be found at the throat. An oversized chest pocket features on the left chest with BNV signature 3D pockets featuring below. Easy to use rubber coated magnetic snaps secure all of the pockets, making them easy to navigate irrespective of weather conditions. The garment also features a reinforcement yoke in contrast cotton and cotton gusset under arm for ventilation and articulation. -
The Launchman is a down-filled fully reversible garment that takes inspiration from classic M1 jackets. In homage to original M1, the Launchman features a face side in a muted tone and contrasting reverse face in a high vis colour, specifically a Dark Navy primary face and Harbour Yellow reverse. Side A of the Launchman features water resistant compact wool melton while the reverse B side features a striking Harbour Yellow ciré. Side A includes BNV gusseted bellow pockets and a chest mounted washable leather pocket with signature BNC stencil detailing, whereas the reverse features oversized envelope pockets. The garment hood can by worn on either face and is secured by custom Boneville Butcher’s buttons which can be removed and rotated to fix the hood in place; these butcher’s buttons feature throughout the centre front of garment and can be removed to allow the wearer to reverse the piece. -

Inspired by early Osti designs, the garment features a magnetic snap front fastening with zip, two front lower pockets secured by magnetic snaps, adjustable cuffs and a ribbed hem. The garment dying process means the fabric picks up a wonderful array of highs and lows, giving it a sense of depth that few other processes can offer. The Co-Pilot also includes a British storm-fasten across collar as seen on classic Harrington jackets and features under arm venting complimented by a loose lip back yoke to promote greater air circulation and overall range of motion. Inside you’ll find Boneville signature herringbone taping for support at key stress points. -

The Courier has been crafted from a lightweight, naturally waterproof fabric. Fibers expand when wet to immediately block out water, ensuring zero penetration when faced with inclement conditions. Our signature expanding pocket sits on the left chest with two oversized envelope pockets at the lower front. The Courier also includes a removable belt to offer a custom fit and includes an action-back for a broader range of motion. The centre front is secured with heavy-duty rubberized buttons, ones which were carefully reproduced from Osti originals. The Courier also includes a removable collar with leather band that secures across the throat to help offer maximum coverage, protecting against the elements when necessary. -

Serving as both an outer garment and duffel bag, the Sharp Engineer demonstrates a skillful marriage of both form and
function. Internal cording, capable of receiving a Kit liner, can be removed and threaded through embroidered eyelets to
transform the jacket to its bag state.
This laundered cotton garment features a centre front secured by custom produced Boneville Butcher’s buttons which
can be removed and replaced as part of the Boneville Kit concept. The garment silhouette and multi-pocket design has
been derived from the study of a great range of classic engineers jackets, chore coats and other working attire seen in both
military and commercial settings throughout the last century

Inspired by garments worn in the trawler industry, this piece has been designed to give maximum support to the wearer
when facing extreme weather conditions. The rubberised fabric has been heat sealed throughout to ensure zero water
pentration; the centre front includes an AquaGuard® zip with a full length placket, the later secured with easy-grip
reproduced Massimo Osti rubberised buttons.
The Pilotmaster includes two chest mounted zip pockets with large lower envelope pockets secured by Boneville signature
magnetic snaps for ease of use when in harsh conditions.
This garment also includes a detachable hood, based on traditional pancake hoods found on duffel coats. It sits flat against
the back when down and when raised it is large enough to accommodate headgear (a knitted hat, a helmet etc...) The
hood includes cord loops at its base that attach to the buttons of the hood once detached, allowing the wearer to roll it up
for safe storage when not in use.

Massimo Osti.” Over the course of his career Osti amassed a large collection of life vest / jackets and conducted extensive
research to their design and real-world use.
Following on from his research the Boneville team have constructed the Pilot’s Vest, inspired by Osti’s work and our own
research into both military and commercial products. Made from high quality garment dyed parachute silk, the Pilot’s
Vest features oversized chest mounted pockets with side entry, a centre front zip and BNV signature luggage strap to
reinforce the front closure. The garment also includes side waist adjusters to ensure a custom fit and internal wadding to
promote great heat insulation.
The garment dying process means the fabric picks up a wonderful array of highs and lows, giving it a sense of depth that
few other processes can offer. The Pilot’s Vest can be used as either a Kit Liner or Kit Shell.
